I know that it's not terribly flashy or clever. To be perfectly honest, I've grown tired of trying to be flashy and clever when it comes to setting up a web site. Looking over my old web pages and intended web pages, I've slowly come to the conclusion that I was more often than not trying too hard and acheiving next to nothing. Personally, I'd like someone to compliment me on my design sense or the quality of my writing. Don't worry, I'm not holding my breath that the day that happens will dawn soon. Taking that path can easily lead to suffocation. But one can hope, you know?
This site is, at the moment, narcissitic in nature. As such, it pertains mostly to me. Here you'll find things that I've written and pictures I've made. Someday, perhaps, it'll expand to encompass a much greater range than simply a vanity site.
As you navigate through the site, you're sure to find links along the top and bottom of each page. These are for the different categories and subcategories into which I've divided the site. The two main categories are ideas and words. Ideas is kind of the grab-bag of the two. It's where I've stuck the stuff about me, the pictures and photos, the ideas and thoughts and those things that I've started and never finished. On the flip side is the Words section. There you'll find a more cohesive structure, what with the poetry and prose, the essays and articles. I've also included letters that I've written while abroad. All in all, some of my best and worst stuff. Links and e-mail are self explanatory.
